We had a lovely springtime walk on a sunny day up here. The hills here are relatively gentle and manageable even with children, paths are well marked and clear (though not suitable for buggies etc). There are some picturesque tarns and beautiful views within easy reach and numerous options for a circular walk taking in forested areas, hills and moorland.
