I nice simple ascent from Stonegate Bridge to bag peak number 40 of 41. Compared to say Baugh Fell it was a walk in the park. Not the best day weather wise. Hence the photos aren't the most exciting I've taken. I shall be going back again. I want the views for a start. It was very wet underfoot and there was still snow behind the wall on the final ascent from Arten Gill. Navigation was a doddle. You follow the wall up and the fence back down to the bridleway back to Arten...

Very easy ascent yet probably one of the best views of any Dales mountain I've climbed so far. Nobody around either; everyone's on one of the Three Peaks.
