Lingmell Fell – Peaceful with Stunning Views I hiked Lingmell Fell with a friend on a clear day, and it was a beautiful, peaceful alternative to the busier Scafell Pike route. The climb is steep in places but not too long, and the views from the top over Wastwater and the surrounding fells are incredible. A perfect choice if you want a quieter walk with amazing scenery.

A very underrated and quiet Wainwright set amongst its bigger brothers such as Great Gable and Sca Fells, but arguably with the better views! Views covering the Scar Fell range, Wast Water corridor and even Mosedale Horseshoe! Far more enjoyable descending!

Steep pull up, or descent, so this will get you warm or put pressure on your joints. I'd suggest a downward direction to look over 'brown tongue' and to get sunset views
