Another day, another Wainwright. And this one is definately (who saw Line of Duty!!) worth the effort. It may not be that high but, for one, the views of Skiddaw are of postcard quality and not to be missed. If you don't want to do any of the biggies make this a priority, and Barrow too, its neighbour and a Wainwright too. A wonderful little walk

A, relatively, short and easy walk up from Braithwaite was how I got up, bypassing Stile End due to time pressures and tired legs from previous days ! Worth the effort, and combined with a descent over Barrow, makes a nice half days ( 3 hours or so ? ) walk.
