Visited Three Hagges Wood Meadow as part of an organised trip from the estate owners and management team. It's amazing to see such large scale conservation work to improve the wildlife connectivity between the River Ouse and the River Derwent. Amazingly forward thinking provision by the farmers and estate owners/managers. And a great amenity for hikers and dog walkers - but please keep dogs on the lead (unless you're the shepherd)...

Good 20/30 min walk around, good for kids learning about the eco system. Dogs allowed only on leads though. Pretty waterlogged at the moment so highly recommend wellies unless you...
