We were here Thursday/Friday for a wedding. The weather was superb, the location is WOW and the wedding was spectacular. The food was 5 🌟, the service was 5 🌟 and our accommodation was perfect. A comfortable clean bed and a very large shower room. Nothing was any trouble. Breakfast was sensational and substantial and the juices, tea and coffee and loads of toast etc just kept coming. We will be back. One gripe though and it's a serious one. The price of alcohol was sobering and eye wateringly expensive.......fortunately my missus isn't a heavy drinker or I would have to leave her at home.

Came here to view a wedding venue as well as stay for my birthday. We got upgraded which was amazing to a cabin. The cabin was gorgeous. The whole island is incredible. The food wasn’t the best, a bit under seasoned. Quite pricey for what tasted like pub food. The bar and the breakfast were great. Loved the walk ways and we loved Chloe who showed us the island and the venue options.

To make other people aware. Check your car before getting on the ferry my car was damaged getting on the ramp and the operator lied and said he knew nothing about it. The hotel would not take liability and I’m out £500 to repair my car. Awful customer service by manager mark. I will not be back and warn others about my experience

Spent ÂŁ179 on a room and spa deal in late 2019 (Xmas Present) for Spring 2020. This was delayed due to Covid and they refused my refund request. We finally stayed in August 2021, but were told that because their rates had changed, we would not be getting use of the spa and sauna. ÂŁ179 on a bed and breakfast. Despite check in being pushed back to 3pm, supposedly to allow greater cleaning, there were dead flies on our windowsill and cobwebs on the lights. The wifi without a password ("lustybegisland," one bar) was so poor it kept dropping out. When I phoned reception to ask for the password to the other wifi ("lusty," 3 bars) I was told I couldn't have it but that they'll try to "boost their wifi signal from their back office." An insult to my intelligence. Needless to say I had to use 3g the entire time I was there. My dinner was lukewarm and the food, while plentiful (huge portions), was very average. We then had to wait over half an hour for dessert as the order was not put through the correct till. My partner then asked for a cocktail, but the machine was broken. We didn't have breakfast until 9.30am the following morning, and it was worse than the dinner. The food was clearly reheated and the bacon in particular tasted like cardboard. There was no choice of fruit or even cereal for my two year old son. The staff were very young and still in training, with no real idea of what they were doing. When checking out I told reception of these problems, they apologized and that was it. No offer of anything in terms of good will. To be honest I wouldn't have returned if they offered me 50% off the bill. Atrocious experience - would...

Do not go here if you are not part of a wedding crowd. Very very noisy. Not able to get ANY sleep due to rude drunk wedding guests. No security on site.

It’s a pretty place and rooms are clean but unfortunately not sleeping due to noise puts a dampener on the experience.

For such a tranquil place, having drunk rowdy weddings is not ideal / you’re not really able to relax. We had 2 wedding parties whilst we booked the night so it was a nightmare.

Booked into the Spa - Awful treatment not worth the money at all. Had a scrub & facial. Easily worst facial and scrub Iv ever had in my life. Full body scrub, only had half my legs “scrubbed” and my arms and back. Nothing else. The lady was kind though! My partner had a massage and he said it was awful and he felt like the massage therapist was winging it. Overall a bad experience. Spa facilities are very...

We had our wedding at The Lusty Beg back in September and we are over the moon with how everything turned out. With Lisa as our Wedding Administrator and Bernie and Alex as our Wedding Coordinators, our special day turned out perfect. The entire team at The Lusty Beg were incredible. The food for the wedding, second day barbeque and the rest of our stay was delicious and the service was outstanding. The accommodations for ourselves and our guests were amazing. Lisa was super easy to communicate with during the preparation process, and addressed every detail. She was always quick to respond whenever we would reach out. The day of the wedding, Bernie and Alex were on top of everything and made our day stress free. We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding. We highly recommend The Lusty Beg as a...
