We had such a lovely stay at Owl's Nest. The barn is gorgeous with everything we needed, really comfortable and spacious. The hot tub is a must, we loved watching the birds as the sun set. Clear instructions provided to heat the hot tub during our stay and the wood burner, although we didn't need it as the heating in the barn was perfect for us! The area is beautiful and secluded, you feel like you're in your own little world. The sheep were lovely company during our stay. We were so sad to leave and wish we had stayed longer. Thank you for a magical stay!

We had a brilliant anniversary getaway at Owl’s Nest. The location is great, it’s very peaceful and completely private, surrounded by nature. The cottage itself is a lovely place to be and very well thought out, spacious yet cosy. The garden is the perfect mixture of well kept yet wild, and the Scandinavian hot tub is fantastic. It’s the perfect hideaway, somewhere to take plenty of supplies switch off your phones and relax without a care in the world. We can’t wait to go back. Very highly recommended indeed.

Visiting owls nest felt like pressing the pause button on the usual fast pace of life. We found ourselves here in a heatwave and took sanctuary in the cool of the trees. The morning and evening stillness listening to the wildlife was a joy. Although only here for a short stay we saw a beautiful deer, badger, green woodpecker and tree creeper. Lucy was fabulous to deal with and the cottage met our every need. Thankyou!

Stayed at this amazing cottage last weekend. The location is perfect, peaceful and quiet and surrounded by nature. Whilst in the wood fired hot tub one morning we counted 22 birds on the feeders. We heard woodpeckers in the morning and and owls in the evening. The close proximity of the three sheep and the opportunity to hand feed them was a fabulous experience. The cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard. It was warm and cosy and very well kitted out with everything you could need. There are lots of walks you can do from the cottage, including a fabulous one following the river to Tintern Abbey. We will definitely be back and we look forward to staying during the different seasons. It’s now known as our Happy Place. We experienced pure joy and contentment during our...

We had such a lovely stay at the Owl’s nest! From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect little escape. The place is beautifully set up—comfortable and peaceful. The outdoor seating area was a great spot to relax, and the hot tub was a dream after a day of being out.

One of the sweetest touches was the bottle of wine left for us by the host—it made us feel really welcomed and added to the relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed sipping it while watching the sheep wander nearby.

Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully done. It’s the kind of place you instantly feel at home in. We only stayed a short while but left feeling refreshed and already thinking about when...

We stayed here for a short break in late June, and we were lucky to have clear blue skies and warm evenings. This place is magical when it’s like this, and I imagine lovely too in the snow! Very cosy but spacious inside and out, with everything provided by a thoughtful host. Very comfy bed with quality bedding. The pictures on the website look great, but in reality it’s even better- amazing views from the top bench, lots of birds and flowers, a nice secluded deck for sunbathing and the hot tub makes for a perfect evening. Friendly sheep too! Stay here, recharge...
