Love Love this place, it is my recharge in nature happy place and feel so lucky to have it only 20 mins from home, we've visited acouple times this year already, missed the bluebells (sure to do next year!) but did a nature day during the nature weekend and our annual sunflower visit) The nature day was absolutely brilliant for children and adults, had such a good time and learnt lots too, having a 2 year old we didn't manage any of the early morning talks or evening activities but if they do it again next year I may even go child free and fully emerse myself in everything 🤣 We had a birthday celebration for the sunflowers, took our own picnic, everyone enjoyed it. Read moreWe had a fabulous weekend camping trip here a few weeks ago. I do t normally write reviews but this wonderful family business does need some recognition as they’re doing a great job.
The campsite was not like anywhere we’ve stayed before, really with a visit! We loved the spacious secluded pitches (enough space for two families) huge area of walking trails and exploring within the site, and excellent facilities with lovely touches (like fresh towels every day to the dry your hands after washing).

Read moreGreat circular walk about 3hrs and 10 miles. Starting point old quarry where is a space up to 5 cars to park. From there you can go up or down there are two paths. I went down where you go through the wood down to the river. Along the river you can see a Church, old bunker, old railway Bridge and tunnel. As you continue you finally get to Symonds yat rock but on the other side of the river. From there the Path turn right back to the Woods and you go up the Hill another 45 mins.
