Best 8th Birthday Party Ever! As described by Parents & Children! If you're reading these reviews, you may as well book it now, you won't be disappointed!

Our daughter's birthday is in January, typically a miserable and cold time of year! We find ourselves struggling more and more each year for party ideas, given that so may places are closed. I also feel as though we've exhausted softplay, trampolining and all the usual indoor stuff!

And then I stumbled across Hidden Woods and what an absolute find it was!! From initial contact to post party, the contact with Steve was outstanding, nothing but quick, friendly and helpful service throughout. The resources and checkpoints from enquiry, booking to party was fabulous.

Barney was our Party lead and what an absolute superstar he was. Claire was supporting who was equally fabulous. Engaging with children and keeping them engaged and more importantly listening for 2,5 hours is a skill and I felt Barney could have gone on and on as could the children!!!!!!

Barney and Claire made my daughter (the birthday girl) feel very special but at the same time didn't take away from anyone else - amazing! They were funny and related to each child regardless of disposition. They both ensured each child had a fabulous time, spending time with each, helping and encouraging them. They even got the parent supervisors involved, laughing and even singing!!!!!

An action packed party that gave the children choice and independence in a totally safe and empowering way. This certainly wasn't the typical conveyer belt party that I've become so used to.

A fabulously unique party with the 'wow' factor! I wouldn't hesitate to book year and year again.

At least 80% of the children were begging their parents on pick up to. book their party at Hidden Woods! My daughter was made up coming home after school after the party - everyone was still talking about it and telling her, her party was the best party ever!!! Speaks for itself I think. But if not I'm hoping my review does...

You will not be disappointed if you choose Hidden Woods for your child’s birthday celebrations. Steve was great throughout the booking process and really helpful in offering a potential solution when an issue came up (our end, not Hidden Woods’) Then on the day, Barney, our host, was simply incredible! You could not wish for any better. His manner with the children is really something to behold. He gets down on their level, gets their attention, remembers their name and really connects. He is so kind and funny and maintains safety in the woods without the need to raise his voice or reprimand anyone at all. He is so inclusive involving everyone including the attending adults. We had children aged 3-11 and they all had an absolute blast! There is a lovely mix of free play on the great woodland site enjoying the mud kitchen, digging area, hammock, rope swing and den and more structured activities like singing around the campfire and toasting marshmallows. Rope making and clay modelling were brilliant woodland crafts the children and adults could try out when they fancied too as well. All through the party parents of the children kept coming up to us saying what a brilliant party it was. Our son had a fantastic 5th birthday party and his friends all had a wonderful time too! Would not hesitate to recommend Hidden Woods to anyone. A truly special birthday celebration. Thank you so much...

Hidden Woods is an extremely magical venue that will have your kids captivated from the moment they arrive. We held my daughter's 7th birthday party there on Saturday and it completed exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is stunning, I wished I could have bottled the excitement of the kids as they meandered up the path to the camp and that was just for starters. Barney's skills in leading parties is exceptional, his skill at remembering all their names, their teachers names, their pets names and including them into campfire songs was brilliant and very much enjoyed. Our daughter is very shy and Barney got exactly the right mix of making it special for her and also turning the attention away from her so she could relax when she needed to. He is also so skilled at maintaining discipline in the camp without even raising his voice but in gently engaging with the kids. The activities we had were making friendship bracelets, building with clay and group den building and they were fully embraced and enjoyed! I heard at least 3 kids saying it was the best birthday party ever and I have to agree! THANK YOU...
