I've done a lot of distillery tours and this was one of the best. Our guide Ashley was great and although fairly new to the role she knew everything and could answer any questions. She even had a notebook to make sure she didn't forget anything which I think is a brilliant thing to do and proves how much she loves her job. The whole experience was fantastic and it is so good to see a new, in whisky terms, business doing so well. Not only that they are doing everything absolutely right. The commitment shown by the owner and staff is a credit to them all. The story about the stills and getting them is just great. The setting is superb and the tour was fantastic. You get to try plenty in the bar following the tour or, if you're driving like I was, they will bottle them up for you to take them away. I had an 8 hour drive to get here and the last 20 miles or so is an experience in itself! This again shows the owners commitment to be different. I chose to go here because it's something completely new and inspirational. I can only say one thing and that is GO! Credit to the owner and...

We, a group of 30 whisky enthusiasts, had a private tour with tasting on June 13th and were absolutely thrilled. After an adventurous journey (we arrived by sailboat, had to land with the dinghy, and walked up to the distillery), we were warmly welcomed right away.

The two guides were very friendly, and their enthusiasm and joy in their work were clearly noticeable. We received important information and were able to tour both the distillery and the warehouse. We also tasted various products and were served a delicious cake alongside.

We were particularly impressed by Nc’Nean’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. As an organic, eco-friendly distillery, Nc’Nean sets a great example for how high-quality whisky production can go hand in hand with protecting nature.

The whole experience – from booking to execution – was perfect! We would love to come back and can only highly recommend it. Nc’Nean is definitely...

It was a visit to remember forever. We were the only visitors at that time slot and we were a little too early. Roberto, our host, bridged the time with a coffee and we had a very familiar tour. We got impressions of the specialty of NcNean: try different paths. Experiment. Don’t stick to corsets and rules. And hence we got a little overtime. Ricardo was very open minded and we had the impression we found a new friend. The whole team was friendly and helpful. The tasting was special, the products excellent. We are very experienced whisky enthusiasts but this was one of the best tastings ever. Keep up the attitude...

A very enjoyable and interesting two hours, hosted and led by Simon. Nc'Nean is a small and very friendly distillery that is driven by the need for sustainability. I like that they will not use peat - there will never be a "smoky" Nc'Nean expression unless the rule on use of peat only for smoking Scotch Whisky changes. The tasting session was excellent, Simon explained the origins of each whisky well and I am looking forward to his "Quiet Rebel" expression when it appears in the next month or so. Finally, we refilled two of our bottles of Nc'Nean as a contribution to a local charity - does any other distillery offer this?
