An absolute pleasure to come here. The closed space gives me confidence in child safety, and a plethora of things to do for the kids. Food is good, no Gordon Ramsay but nice enough to eat there again. The space in the building is well used with the clean soft play area against the back wall with all round netting for an easy view of your children. Sections for the younger kids with a simple hatch for peace of mind. All of this makes planet play a relatively good, fun place for kids to make memory's and remember fondly in the future. From an adults perspective, there are a few issue which, unfortunately, brings my review down to 3 stars. I'd like to address the walls of the establishment. Plain white walls with exposed cables and metal frame work isn't appealing to the eye. There are 2 flat screens on the walls, I assume to break up the everlasting white wash of the bricks, as they are not switched on and serve no purpose what so ever. This next focus point is the one which drags planet play the most! The staff of the venue are miserable. I am not greeted with a smile when approaching the counter. My child was ignored when expressing sheer excitement and delight when entering. Either they need a clean sweep and fresh new team members or a course on how to speak to children and basic people skills. In my opinion, it doesn't look like having a smile is a quality you need to work here. It may be seen as harsh, however it is a big issue that pitts the business into the 3 star catagory. If these issues are addressed then I believe that planet play can be an out of this world experience for both kids and...

Food orders are delivered to your tables quite quickly , the food is what you expect from a play centre. The cafe area is a nice place to meet up with other parents for a coffee, but children still need to be supervised by the adults who bring them, planet play staff don't supervise your children. I paid for my two year old to play for two hours but left after 40 mins after she was repeatedly hit, pushed backwards down the slide, had one of the ride on toys chucked at her then finally bitten on her arm by the same unsupervised 3 year old boy, he wouldn't release his jaw off my daughter's arm even after I asked him too, her arm was badly bruised for over a week, when I mentioned to the boys mother who was engrossed viewing her social media account, her reply was simply " oh I know he's terrible he's always biting kids at the moment" then carried on scrolling, I decided to leave. I mentioned it to staff when signing out and they asked if I'd told the boys mum, when I said I had they seemed satisfied the issue had been dealt with, I felt sorry for the children left playing at the...
Read moreFirst time here and won’t be back
First of all £8 for a 2 year to go into the soft play. The prices are way over the top
Second off all I understand parents are not allowed in the soft play for health and safety what ever but what happens if your child needs assistance and they need you to go up there to get them. Every time an adult would go up to help there child the staff were on the tannoy threatening them to kick them out if they didn’t get off
Thirdly. Every 5 seconds the staff were on the tannoy telling kids off for this or that. Sorry i didn’t realise kids weren’t allowed to have fun when we’ve just paid £8 to get into the place
You should be allowed to bring your own food especially if you have kids that have allergies or very particular food tastes
Staff have all got faces like fat and attitudes to join
I definitely...
