Sinfin Fish Bar — Local services in Great Britain

Usually I have only good good things to day about this chip shop and there delivery service... I love this place. Never had a bad meal from here ever.. Today at work( I'm a support worker for adults with mental health issues.) Its takeaway night and the 4 people I've been with today wanted chipshop so as this is my local chippy I decided to order from them an order over 40.00 should have been delivered by 5.15 pm I phoned at 5.40 and was told it was on it's way. I waited until 6pm to phone them back only to be told the driver has delivered it to somewhere else... Driver error does occur and was told they would make another order and get it to me as soon as possible 5 minutes later food turns up no where near as hot as it should be seeing we are about 10 minutes from the shop... the food isn't bad just not hot. Had to heat it all up in the microwave as the guys complained it wasnt hot enough... It really pains me to write this as I really do love...

A couple of weeks ago, the Asian girl with brown hair was incredibly rude to me in the shop. Midway through placing my order, she abruptly asked, “Is that all?” I replied, “No, because you’ve cut me off halfway through my order.”

After finishing, I said my thank yous and went across the road to Tesco to buy tea. The order was for my mum. When we got home and she opened the kebab, it was ice cold.

We drove back to the store to return the food. My mum then told me that when I initially went into the shop, the staff were looking outside to see who was in my car.

When we brought the food back, the manager handled the situation appropriately. However, the chavvy woman in the shop—the one wearing the TNs—had the audacity to get in my mum’s face. I politely reminded her that no one was speaking to her and told her to back off.

This type of service is completely unacceptable, and I will not be going...

It was sad to see Zan's Sinfin store go, but the quality has not left at all! The name/owner change happened to just as Covid came along and messed up the world, thankfully they allow you to order online for pick up on their own site so that's great, I'm far enough away that I can order at home and once it's confirmed leave the house and arrive at the Fish Bar and my order is ready to get picked up so I don't have to wait. The new owners are as nice and are doing a good job at keeping the place running as always just under the new name. There's still another Zan's Fish place nearby over the bridge to Stenson Road, haven't been to that one in a while so I hope they are...
