The Golden Fry — Local services in Great Britain

We ordered a double cheese burger, chips and chicken nuggets. We waited quite some time, had to phone to check where it was after the latest delivery time. When it did arrive, it arrived cold and only a single cheese burger.

When we got through, we were assured a double cheeseburger was sent several times and were hung up on several times. There was NO customer service. I asked to talk to the manager twice, the same young girl assured me the kitchen said that it was a double sent. At this point, we don’t only have the wrong food and cold, but are being told we’re lying about it.

It’s such a shame but I guess when you put children in charge, that’s what you get. Don’t order from here.

EDIT. Just received the order after arguing with them for half an hour - half the order...

I have just polished of my battered sausage and chips, whatever they did to their chips tonight they were spot on, really big chips, nice and fat and slightly well done but not over done, they were the best chips I've had from a chippy in a very long time, the battered sausage was really good too and not greasy at all. Whatever you did with those chips tonight if you keep doing them like that people will come far and wide, I'd rather have to wait longer to get chips like that than get partially cooked chips. Really lovely young lassie served me and really polite. Well done guys I shall look forward to coming again, not that I eat a chippy often but as it's only round the corner it's ideal too. Dreadful. There's no other word really.

We ordered a doner kebab, a chicken kebab, and a spice bag.

Fair's fair, the chicken kebab was fine. The meat was juicy and seasoned well but that's all the positivity that this place will get from me.

The doner was terrible. It was by far the worst doner kebab I've ever had. It was dry and rancid. It smelled like wet dog coming out of the bag and was bone dry all the way through. The attached photo just doesn't do it justice.

The chips in both dishes were mostly inedible. They were all dry and hard.

The spice bag was okay, mostly. The onion rings, sausages (actually a single sausage), and nuggets were nice enough but the bag was mostly chips, which had the same issue as the chips in the...
