What an amazing Experience! I booked this tour for my brother's 40th, along with a bottle of The Murray Special edition as a gift surprise well in advance of the date we were due to arrive. The Distillery tour was amazing, really informative and busy with tourists from all over. Lindsey went above and beyond by presenting my brother with the bottle at the end of the tour and giving him a special taster for the occasion! He was absolutely made up and we both had such a great time doing this together. Special thanks to Lindsey for making it so nice and special for him, we both won't forget it and thank you for everything you did.

Tullibardine distillery has a visitor centre and runs distillery and tasting tours. This is the best quality vs. price ratio for whisky we have found so far. Tullibardine distillery deliver very well on a range of different wine barrel finishes. The whisky is light due to a short fermentation time (about 52 hours) and complex for each different wine cask finish they have. There are multiple red wine, sauterne wine, sherry cask or even triple port casks finishes. Each single malt whisky has a distinguished aromas and complicated palate and finish.

Die Führung war informativ, und man bekommt einen guten Einblick in den gesamten Prozess der Whiskyherstellung – von der Maische bis hin zu den beeindruckenden Eichenfässern, in denen der Whisky lagert. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm persönlich. Unser Guide hat mit viel Wissen durch die Destillerie geführt und auch individuelle Fragen beantwortet. Das Highlight der Tour war für mich die Verkostung am Ende. Besonders der "Tullibardine 500 Sherry Finish" hat mir mit seinen fruchtigen und süßen Noten gut gefallen. Der kleine Shop bietet eine schöne Auswahl an Whiskys, darunter auch einige, die man nur vor Ort kaufen kann aber nicht muss. Ideal jedoch, wenn man ein besonderes Andenken sucht. Ein paar praktische Tipps: Die Distillery liegt direkt an der A9, also leicht mit dem Auto erreichbar. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Am besten bucht man die Tour vorab online, gerade in der Hauptsaison ist das empfehlenswert. Plant etwas Zeit ein, um den Shop und die Umgebung entspannt zu erkunden. Fazit: Ein Besuch in der Tullibardine Distillery lohnt sich für alle, die sich für Whisky interessieren. Die Führung ist informativ, die Verkostung rundet den Besuch ab, und die Distillery bietet eine angenehme Atmosphäre, alles sehr unaufdringlich!

I am an Italian man living in South America. I own an Italian restaurant in the centre of Argentina, in the province of Córdoba. My passion is single malt whiskys. I bought a bottle of Tullibardine burgundy finish with Amazon in Italy and a friend of mine, who was traveling to this place, brought it here. The place where I live is very isolated and my passion for single malt scotch whiskys is probably also fueled by the very big difficulty I have in finding my whiskys that I slowly taste with great pleasure. I write to you to give you my best compliments. Your whisky is delicious and really enjoyable. The ending is surprising and excelent. Our experience at Tullibardine Distillery was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, Gavin, our host, made us feel welcome and excited to dive into the world of whiskey. His knowledge of the distillery process and the history of whiskey was impressive, and he shared it in such a relaxed and engaging way. We felt both comfortable and thrilled throughout the entire visit. Gavin’s enthusiasm truly made the experience special, and we walked away with a deeper appreciation for the craft.
