I got married at Loseley Park on 29th March 2018, so this review is in relation to that. Seriously exceptional service, not cheap (I'm referring to the exclusive Caper & Berry catering costs / the venue itself is actually very good value, it's the food that make it expensive) but worth every penny! Carolyn, alongside the Caper and Berry catering team that are exclusive to the venue so you have to use, were so so professional on the day, absolutely everything was in hand, to the tiniest detail, we didn't need to worry about a thing (they run the wedding logistics from beginning to end on the day itself). In addition, they were always so accommodating to our perfectionist ways and many questions and visits for months approaching the wedding. Not once did we feel that the venue was run like a business, churning out wedding after wedding (like most other venues we visited, especially the more expensive ones). Only advise I have is to ensure you ask for a rough quote form the Caper & berry Team prior to signing for the venue, as the cost really is venue + catering costs since you have to use this catering company. Also the food was really really good, was nice to have a smart meal for the wedding breakfast all the guests loved it.

It may be a tourist attraction but it’s also a family home with photos of the kids on the mantelpiece. It has the lived in feel that the National Trust can’t provide. And the guide made a first class job of bringing the characters in the portraits to life. The gardens in July were bursting with colour and immaculately tended. There is a focus on half hardy annuals and perennials in reds and yellows that looked subtropical even on a cool cloudy day. The veg garden had show quality produce, and all ending up on the customer’s plates. I would have liked to see the buffaloes in the park but sadly they kept escaping and had to go.

First class venue, it was chosen by family members for their wedding. Gorgeous and peaceful surroundings with staff who are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure a memorable occasion. All facilities are excellent and flowers and catering were simply superb. The ceremony was held in the extensive gardens and reception in the barn with music and dancing following. The food provided was faultless and staff were well trained and served everyone quickly and with no fuss. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, we experienced very poor, passive aggressive, discriminatory, and strange treatment during our visit to Loseley Park by multiple members of staff. While waiting for our tour, one house guide (whose name we did not catch, but she was the woman in the orange cardigan) interrogated us about our travels, and then remarked that perhaps we should visit Blackpool as it was a place we might really enjoy. We initially thanked her for the suggestion, but later learned from others that Blackpool in fact is a low budget amusement park in the North of England, and so clearly she was mocking us (as well as betraying her sentiments for her fellow countrymen who enjoy such holidays).

After that, our house guide Gaye repeatedly and shockingly singled us out during the group tour on account of our nationality, speaking down to us in a condescending and belittling way. Having spent three months visiting dozens of stately homes and historical sites in all parts of England, we have never before (or since) received such bizarre treatment. So suffice it to say that something is truly very amiss with the culture and staff engagement at this home.

The only redeeming employee we encountered during our visit was Tracey in the ticket office, who upon learning of our experience with the guides, proactively and kindly offered to take us back into the house to show us around. Perhaps she could lead a training session for the insufferable elitist sycophants who guard the...

spring garden show, usually a great little show, but this year oh dear, lack of organisation from parking, buying tickets, lack of stall holders, on arriving at the carpark at 10.00am with no directions offered of parking to the disabled area, disabled parking was conned off, so we parked in the general carpark field, when we walked past the disabled conned off area, where two large gentlemen sat watching in there, in a pickup truck, they then decided to move the cones, buying tickets seemed to be either in the shop or the kiosk, but it seems you didnt have to buy a ticket because as we watched people just walked into the gardens as there was no one checking if you had purchased a ticket, just like previous years, queuing up to watch the fiasco of ordering your lattes (ect) then waiting endlessly for your incorrect coffee being offered back to you and others, finally receiving your lukewarm offering, this was in the first hour of opening, along with sorry we have run out of hot chocolate, not enough table and chairs available to sit at, so we wondered off to find a seat in the gardens, lack of stall holders from previous years, the highlight of the day was using the disable wc, difficult to lock door, lock needs attention, hard to turn on tap, warm air dryer that doesn't work oh and a dirty floor...

Went to a 70’s live concert here ‘Friday night fever - lost in music’ 08.08.2025.

The most beautiful weather, the ambience was perfect for a drunken 70’s night.

The signposting for parking was virtually non-existent. Lots of people went the wrong way down a single track road and had to turn around wasting a lot of time that could have been better spent doing other things.

Then when we parked and made our way to the stage area were were aggressively accosted by a couple of very posh, clearly wealthy, well spoken, well dressed, upper middle class ladies in their 60’s or 70’s who demanded we made a contribution to the charity they were collecting for. I declined because I didn’t like their manner, however then approached my teenage daughter and she stated she didn’t have any money, they protested that they had a card machine! They aggressively stated that the parking was free inferring we should make a contribution instead. My daughter didn’t have a card so they picked on another unsuspecting family.

We got to the bar and the queue was massive, the staff were in a bit of a panic and equally as aggressive but we got there in the end!

The music was brilliant, fantastic band with lots of funky 70’s covers done better than the original artists. The fireworks at the end rounded off a...
