A very nice circular drive up over the hills from Flint to Chester taking in some of the scenery on a slightly hazy January afternoon. According to a local who lived near the top you can see snowdon/yr wyddfa between the hills to the west on a clearer day. The roads can get steep and icy in the mornings especially so stay in low gear descending on the single track roads. There are also sheep roaming freely and badgers during twighlight and darkness hours. Many locals and bikers walk along these roads too. The woodlands and open moors are very picturesque and mask the industrial areas and power station to the north east.
