The reason I visited this peak is because its one of the 33 key points constituting an ancient trail named the Belinus Line or The spine of Albion, starting from Isle of Wight, all the way to Inverhope,Scotland. It's one of the rare places on Earth where, at certain times, you can witness a double Sunset, and the landscape is spectacular, green,British Grass, superb colours. From the main road's carpark it's about 40 minutes walk to the top of the Cloud, following Gritstone trail(56km footpath along Peak District). The path is very well presented,it's part of the National Trust, the locals are very friendly people, and it's supposed to be great for mountain biking, too. It's great place to visit, accessible & very refreshing, part of the the Great British...

There is a small car park that can be used at a nearby place, which is an easily walkable distance away. This is called Timbersbrook picnic area, from there you can pick your route that best suits you. Enjoy your time here and have a good time, it's...

A nice and fairly short climb up around the top of Bosley Cloud. Paths are quite clearly marked and managed by the National Trust, starting off through woodland before breaking out onto more exposed higher heather and shrub land. Views are impressive from the top and the circular path takes you back down the other side, through more woodland to complete your visit. There is a large car park nearby, which does close the gate at 8pm but we parked closer to the stepped start of the walk, on the road nearby as was quite...
