Harwood Forest — Local services in Hepple

Spent a night camping there around a mile from Winter's Gibbet. The trees are really thick and many have blown down in storms which makes access difficult.

Obviously these trees are cut down for wood and it was the first time I've seen a huge area felled. It was pretty horrific and spooky.

I reckon the forest would be great for a Sunday walk but I'll not bother camping...

Fantastic place for a wild or stealth camp. beautiful during the day but the forest takes on a whole different mood when the sun goes Down Aptly knick named 'the spooky forest of doom" or "the woods that glow" Paranormal...
