Start of a wonderful round today, Great Cockup gets the blood pumping and the muscles working. Paths are a bit vague at first but just keep heading upwards and the main path will become apparent. Another Wainwright to tick off though no sign of Dennis Norden anywhere!!!!

Stunning views from the top, the cairn is a bit small considering the name of the fell. It's got a low shelter, which is very handy on windy days as this is an exposed summit.

This is a cracking summit and as well as the cairn there is a substantial stone shelter available as well. Commanding views of the area.
