Care in the Garden CIC — Local services in Isle of Wight

Absolutely Amazing place, really reasonable plants and garden bits. They sell fresh fruit, vegetables, gifts and so much more. They make things too, the wood planters are brilliant and last for years in the garden. They have self service cafe, which has some delicious cakes and jams, chutneys. Two places for gifts and goodies to buy too. Very welcoming, the staff are so friendly and all work so hard to make this place as wonderful as it is. Definitely beats the garden centres hands down. Something for everyone and supports the Island too. And they give their staff chance to gain experience and confidence and feel loved...

only stopped here by chance as i was meeting someone, and used the car park. decided to have a walk around the Garden Centre and see if there was anything nice for mother's day. i was quite blown away!

my partner and i picked up a lovely, full pot of Begonia's for his mother. but there was a lot of flowers and herbs etc that we found to be a great price and worth buying. they had pizza herb mix plants, beautifully made bird feeders that i considered buying, and even a whole seasonal shelf filled with specifically tailored mother's day flowers and pots.

would definitely come back...

A gem of a small garden centre with also a selection of fresh veg and farm shop products. Very reasonably priced and good to know your purchases are supporting a community project that gives meaningful employment to those with additional needs. You must take the opportunity to check it out when passing. Only challenge might be parking as limited spaces but in practice, usually can find a spot without to...
