Worzals garden center is a nice place. Large indoor and outdoor plants and flowers 🌸🌹 pot 🌵 plants and trees. Roses 🌹 to fruit 🍑 🎄 trees 🌴. They sell everything thing you really need. I didn't see many gardening tools, big tools. I mean like ⛏️⚒️ spades, forks, hedging shares they probably do. You can get all sorts here garden 🏡 ornaments, bird 🐦🕊️ boxes for small birds some very pretty, in the shape of telephone 📞📱 boxes. If you can remember them 😂. They do have a lot of novalty bits to garden gloves 🧤. But and I do say but because there is a big BUT, it's not cheap. Many of the gadgets, gloves and lights you can get at B&Ms or pound shops for a bit of the price. Some of the quality maybe better. I see these gloves £5 a pair. Local pound shop 5 pairs for a fiver. Yes i know they maybe a little better but 5 pairs. That's a clean pair every day. And can afford to throw them away. My mum liked this wall 🧱 clock ⏰. £25 same style clock in B&Ms £10. But as i keep saying it's a matter of choice 😉. It is a nice place and the staff are nice so that means a lot to me. Good service and manners go a long way in my book 📖. They also have a lovely 💐 restaurant on site but here it comes again, it's not cheap. I have eaten here before. The food was good 👍 but expensive in my eyes 👀. They have a bar 🍺🍻 too which is open to the public. We went there one Friday night 🌃. Lot of people out for a social night out. But again not cheap. It's what we would call back in the day a yuppie bar 😆. But hey hey does it matter. Anyway my lovelies honesty as always and straight talking. It's worth a visit to see for yourself. Enjoy your day out. Follow if it's honesty you...
Read moreWent for lunch. Walked into main entrance, farm shop to the right. Went through to use glass door, only to be greeted with a sign saying main entrance. It would have been helpful for this to be outside the so called main entrance. Went into the bar, had some great food and kids played outside. Back in and round to the farm shop. Went through to go to garden centre to be greeted with another closed door and sign saying use main entrance. Which we had! Apparently not, we had to go back outside and walk around. When we got to the garden part, I said to a member of staff that the signage, or lack of, made it difficult to know where to go. This is frustrating as one of us had just had a knee replacement and another was struggling with chronic knee and hip pain. The staff member was uninterested, to the point of being rude and said there was plenty of signs outside, to the point of being rude. When you are parked outside the bar end, in the disabled where we were, it isn't visible. For those of us that haven't visited before it didn't feel very friendly or helpful and was hard to work out where to go.
Food and bar were great, if a little on the pricey side. Toilets immaculate....
Read moreAmazing place. Didnt have time to go in farm shop or restaurant so cant comment on these. We went to undercover play area and it didnt disappoint. Definately book as gets really busy, amazing as adults are free and a small fee per child, but facilities aee brilliant! 2 hours time slot bookings which is a good amount of time. Side entrance to play area, plenty of parking, once in its all self contained, great range of food and drinks, high chairs available with immediate seating by play area and then picnic benches near area when walk in. Ride on tractors for little ones and bigger ones, also great touch in toddler area they have baby walkers, so even the littlest ones can get involved. Designated toilets, seating and food/drink for play area. Prices are good, food options are decent. Worzals have nailed this area! An all weather play area for kids. The play area itself is mainly on chip bark, and play area its self is all wooden, they have a lower to floor area for smaller ones then big play area behind, 2 zip lines, sings and a big swing seat in back corner. Will definately...
