You can see for miles around when you're up there. It's a very accessible tor from the carpark there is a gate to go through though.( be careful of carpark, cars can ground out on the rough surface) I love to just chill out up there for a few hours to get away from everything it's really peaceful. Cows do roam around up there so be careful if you take your dog's

Stunning place, 360 view and it's not a hard walk to the top of the hill (I saw families with kids). The Neolithical stones are simply amazing, as if they were placed there simply to add a touch of wonder and mistery to the landscape. Great feeling to climb the stones and look to the beautiful horizon

Great place for wide games and lovely to explore and admire the view, with shelter. Very much out in the sticks so difficult to get to by car, just watch out for any sign that says helman somewhere on it. Likewise, you would only get there by foot if you were a keen hiker with plenty of time. I suggest going in from eden roundabout then go right. When you get to one car park, go to the left of the fork and follow the road to the left. Then find the cottage sign. If the road is ridiculously narrow you are in the right place. You will pass the tor on your left then look out for the carpark...
