Minners path has fantastic views, it is a bit challenging on the steep climb, you will need to use your hands at some points and it can be strenuous. The minners path has some beautiful lakes, very still and amazingly fun to skim stones on. Some parts were a bit scary and require carefully footing, don't go into any ruins as they may contain human waste, I found out the hard way. Make sure to pack plenty of food, temperate and weather on the summit can change very quickly so make sure to bring waterproofs and layers. The summit was foggy the que was long and some people skipped the que with felt disgruntling. The cafe prices are a bit high and don't have much range in items.    Read moreBeautiful views and good climb. This was our first mountain so we took the Llanberis Path. Me and my dog are both pretty fit but not used to hills as we are from South Lincs. So we did up and back in 6.5 hrs including around 30mins of stops. The path is gravel so a bit slippy and rocks to step up to. But the hardest part was the really steep tarmac incline right at the start! 🤣 The summit is small and a narrow spiral stair. I went on a Friday in September and there were a far few people waiting.
