Absolute beauty

Played the Forester 2023 event with a much needed practice round the day before, what a course and brill layout. greens excellent and slick. score on the front 9 and hold on round the back 9. you will need your A game with the driver or a spotter :-) £55 with lunch and 54 holes (inc practice round) best value for money EVER. Couldn't fault it as a venue. The staff really made an effort to welcome us, they were very friendly and helpful. Always the sign of a great venue in my opinion.

The course was very challenging with the excellent greens at 12.5 on the stent meter!!

We made a pact to come back for a return visit... When we are better at the game! (and we aren't that bad now!)

Lots of long carries over Heather from the tee's. Every hole had a degree of difficulty making each one a challenge in its own right.

Add to this a strong breeze and you really have your hands...

I played here as part of a society, we were made to feel very welcome by the staff and it's members.

The course is a great track, with the greens being a welcome challenge.

It was so quiet during the round too, there aren't any busy roads anywhere near the course.

The locker rooms were spacious and the club provides towels for a shower.

The food we had afterwards was superb.

There is a lot of quality courses in the area, and this is one of them.
