Interesting visitor centre for the hydro electric dams in the Rheidol Valley. There are a couple of rooms dedicated to the original construction of the scheme, with interactive displays suitable for youngsters and adults showing how electricity is generated using just water and gravity. There's a nice cafe for coffee and cakes. And nice toilets too. The car park isn't the largest, but there is another parking area just a short walk away over looking the reservoir. There's also a large grassy area with picnic tables. We didn't explore it,but there's a walking path from the left hand side of the Centre.
