Right from the start Terry was the perfect balance of professional but friendly/informal – just what I was looking for my friend’s hen do. The menu options Terry provided to choose from all looked yummy making it very difficult to narrow down  Once I did make the menu selection Terry was great at accommodating vegetarian and dietary requirements (we had a couple of Veggies and mum’s to be in the group!).

In the run up to the event Terry’s communication was clear and timely leaving me feeling relaxed about the evening ahead. We’d hired Terry’s service as an accompaniment to a murder mystery evening and we was very open to making the meal work around a set agenda for the evening.

Terry and his colleague arrived on time and got straight to work, prepping and cooking in a very organised and discreet way. The food was DELICIOUS. We had a starter of hot smoked salmon with beetroot and horseradish crème fraiche, followed by stuffed chicken wrapped in parma ham with rosemary potatoes, cabbage and veg and finished with a desert of hot chocolate fondant and ice cream – 14 clean plates all around!!!

The dinner was all served per agreed timings and the kitchen was left immaculate! I’d highly recommend Terry for any function, he was professional, friendly and most importantly delivered an amazing meal - he really made our evening special – the bride to be was...

I cannot thank Terry enough for everything he did to make the Saturday night of my friend's hen do as brilliant as it was. Throughout all of our communication ahead of time, Terry was always organised, efficient and prompt in replying to us. He was calm and patient when we changed the numbers and menus multiple times and was very reasonable in negotiating the cost too so we could ensure that all members of the party were able to attend. For us, the best part was that Terry was more than happy to cater a pudding specifically for our hen as she wasn’t able to have it at the wedding. This was a really special touch which she appreciated so much.

On the day itself, both Terry and Helena were a joy to have in the house. Despite our kitchen being small with limited prep space, they produced perfect plates with extreme professionalism and calm. They even coped with many girls running through to use the poorly placed shower! Dinner was served on time, with a broad smile and by the time we’d come back upstairs the kitchen was impeccably tidy – probably better than before they arrived…! It was a perfect evening with impeccable food, stunning service and just topped off our weekend. I would have no hesitation in recommending Perfect Chef 4 U for any events you may think of – it was a truly brilliant addition...

I arranged for Terry to cook for a family dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. Despite the 5, then 4hr, time difference (I was arranging this from overseas) he was prompt with his responses. He made clear the services available and the process of booking was extremely easy. The menu selection was a little more challenging as there was a such good variety of delicious sounding dishes. He arrived as scheduled and cooked us a fabulous meal despite being in a kitchen unfamiliar to all of us; we'd rented an Airbnb. Each course was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and served with a smile by his daughter, who was waiting that night. The food was absolutely delicious and enjoyed by us all at a very leisurely pace. It made the celebration truly memorable. He's a very friendly, approachable man who willing chatted with us throughout the evening despite the task in hand. The kitchen was impeccable when they departed. I can't recommend Tery highly enough and, should the occasion arise I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again. Huge...
