Monmouthshire Showground — Local services in Monmouth

It did its job of being a big, slightly muddy field venue for the Welsh Cross-Country Inter-Regional races, hosting well over 500 athletes plus their spectators and the many event organisers in a picturesque location. It feels a bit unfair to criticise the spartan nature of facilities, but trouble with the electrics led to a lack of hot drinks at times on a chilly day & the toilets didn't always have paper... Nuff said! Otherwise, my daughter came away with a medal & a big smile, so well done...

Lovely big well organised car park and large area for Sellers. Liked the space very much plus there's a lovely area by the river to explore. Toilets on site and mobile cafe. Only downside apart from too many traders is the traffic on the way out back to Monmouth. 20 mins to get back to Town but still well...
