Fabulous place to bring the kids (and grown-up kids too 😁). We bought the 10 rides for £10 and had two trips each. Everyone loved it - how could it not put a smile on your face? There are a selection of different trains, some diesel, some coal-fired steam engines - the queue for the steam trains is over the bridge. The diesel trains leave the main site and take you out into the main park - lots of fun hooting and waving at passers-by! Efficiently run by a friendly group of people. Thanks so much. Read moreI used to enjoy the miniature railway as a kid and having now returned with my own children I can safely say the enjoyment hasn't stopped!
The track has recently been extended to exit the smaller track around the station and now continues into Cutteslowe park itself which is great fun!
The attention to detail with regards to the trains, station and drivers is also second to none.
At £1.25 it's extremely good value and hard to be topped.

Read moreGreat place to visit for a walk, feed the ducks etc, great food and drinks at the cafe, my children grew up going on the train every now and then and now my grandson, it does get busy especially on Sundays due to sports clubs (football, cricket etc, has tennis courts and sand volleyball) but parking is rarely a problem! Payment at machines or via the Ringo app and is inexpensive, lots of conker trees and a nice walk on the snowy days. P s train runs every other Sunday...
