Lovely quiet spot at Parton Beach! A peaceful, clean beach with plenty of space to walk, sit, and take in the sea air. It’s mostly pebbles with some sand when the tide is out, and the views of the coastline are beautiful. It’s not crowded, making it perfect if you want a quiet break away. There’s easy parking nearby, and you can watch the trains pass along the coast which adds to the charm. Great place for a calm walk or to just sit and...

The entire beach area has been destroyed by the work to repair the rail line. It will take decades for it to return to its previous state. My partner use to spend hours down here searching for broken glass and bottles which had been embedded in the old concrete defenses. She came back in tears tonight. This natural area has been ruined and no care has been taken in trying to...
