This woollen mill is simply gorgeous. The quiet tranquil setting, deep in a tiny valley surrounded by woods is a delight. The Mill, its history and heritage is so well maintained as a local industry providing much needed local employment for a lucky few. It's glorious weaving produces fabulous woollen garments and blankets as well as pillows and so many other lovely items to temp you. Everything that is sold in the shop is of the highest quality and beautifully displayed by the most helpful, chatty staff. The outdoor cafe provides food of equal high quality to temp visitors: delicious coffee, hot chocolate and various tea served with a small tempter of Welsh cake. They have a separate breakfast (0930-1130) and main menu (1130-1630) with a great selection. Parking for all is free and wheelchair access is good. The toilets are immaculate.

Lovely place to visit, lovely products but the stand out was the cafe. Food was the best food I've had while out in a long time. The 'full Welsh' was delicious with a properly cooked fresh egg (surprisingly rare) and the families lunches were fantastic, the best being the Mac 'N cheese which had a wonderful cheese sauce, all too often watery when places skimp on cheese. Don't live far away so will return even if just for lunch.

Had my first holiday in Pembrokeshire a few weeks ago ,i was recommended to visit your mill by a friend . I thoroughly enjoyed my visit so much, so I popped in three times whilst on holiday . The food and coffee were absolutely delicious and the staff were really helpful. It is so lovely to be able to watch a working mill. You have an amazing choice of beautiful blankets , i treated myself to two, which I'm so pleased with.

I have been to this cafe,in a lovely setting , before and generally food good and service fair.I had just returned from Eire via ferry and the comparison re friendliness and service was marked. As I arrived I smiled and said hello to x3 staff standing at the til with no one in the restaurant and only x2 tables full outside on a lovely sunny day.No response, no acknowledgement,no smile. My husband ordered a small breakfast which was good . I ordered x2 topping breakfast poached egg and bacon . I heard them questioning whether they "could do"poached eggs,in the kitchen . If they had said they couldn't I would happily have had another form. My breakfast arrived with just one poached egg ,clearly not expertly made and told my other egg would follow. I had completely eaten my breakfast and had placed my knife and fork on my empty plate when the second egg was produced. I just stated this was too late . The ..I think manager..looked barely apologetic..walked away and dumped ÂŁ1 on my table with barely a word of apology. I was at no point being difficult or unreasonable. I think there are lessons for the cafe management and staff to reflect upon . The quality of welcome when customers arrive. The training re their menu options and there abilty to cook and produce food adequately and a timely manner. Most importantly the manager should demonstrate how to recognise and deal with issues in a kind ,polite manner and not to make the customer feel that they, the customer, is the problem when they have themselves provided a sub...

I’ve been coming to the cafe for a number of years. Love the location and atmosphere is great but the food is becoming so boring and was horrified to see risotto on the menu served with that disgusting manufactured coleslaw. Come on people of Tregwynt When did you ever see those two paired together. Cawl is lovely but as for everything else boring boring boring. We are no longer in the 1980,s. Put some inspiration into the food that matches the surroundings. Today I took my daughter for breakfast before she leaves for uni. Oh dear not a treat at all. Not so long ago I would order grilled tomatoes and black pudding with toast. So when I couldn’t see it on the menu I asked staff where it was. The answer was astounding and I quote “ after the summer holidays we took it off the menu”. So am I missing something here, has black pudding become seasonal or is it a case now the holiday makers are departing the locals aren’t worthy. I think locals are worthy of better treatment and certainly...
