Perfect scenic location for taking in the sunset. However, keep in mind that this is a tidal island, meaning that it will be cut off from the mainland at high tide. I'm lead to believe that the longest you can be stuck here is two hours, but it's something to keep in mind.
There are ground nesting birds about, so keep to the path ways to avoid stepping in the nests. The bird population is lively and when I was here they were fluttering about the place and singing in chorus.
The light house situated at the Southern point is very picturesque, particularly at sunset, when the fading light falls upon the rocks and the Welsh mountains across the bay. Being open to the Sea it is rather a windy spot, but that's to be expected.

The drive down through the forest is stunning with various places to stop and park up. We drove to the very bottom car park which also had toilets. There's various walking routes. We walked along the beach towards the island. The beach is stunning with lots of stones and shells. The tide was high when we arrived so couldn't access the island unfortunately but it was still absolutely breathtaking. We'll worth a visit or two, could spend all day...
