Battleship Hill in Oban offers a decent hiking experience with a rewarding view in the end. The walk starts near the coastline, passing through a forest before the eventual ascent of the hill. The final stretch up Battleship Hill is steep and there is no fortified path. Once at the summit, you are treated to a 360-degree view of Oban and the nearby islands.

Peaceful and decent walk. Ascending the summit will require grippy shoes because the path is narrow and not really prepared or even marked for hiking. It’s also quite a climb so be prepared. The view is nice and I was the only person there at the time.
