Bellshill Golf Club — Local services in Scotland

We visited the course couple of times last year. It was £15 and the relation of quality of the course to the price was I think fair. It is now £35 (?!!) for visitor's round of 18 holes and the course is nowhere near a quality required for that kind of money. Greens are not in the best shape with holes and spots all over them - some of them are really poor, bunkers (most of them) don't have any sand just a hard soil and the course and area in general (like walks between holes) are not the cleanest to put it mildly. So £35 is a lot and we will not be playing again any time...

We played a round at Bellshill today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of nice holes, the 17th in particular, a par 3 from an elevated tee, was a cracker. There are also a few dog leg holes which give you options to cut corners or play the shape of the hole. Some greens to the next tees were a little walk, but it was all well signed. Played in the Seniors Texas Scramble on 1st Sept 22. Course was excellent, no complaints whatsoever, fairways and greens in great condition. Catering was on a par (if not better), than any other club we have visited this year. A big thank you to all at Bellshill GC, and we will definitely be back next year.
