We went on a cruise on the Firth of Forth as part of our package holiday. I am glad it was part of the package. I might not have done it otherwise. I had never seen seals until then. Our boat went by Blackness Castle, which, given the chance, I would love exploring. We cruised passed beneath the three bridges, which tower side by side over the Firth of Forth and are examples of the best engineering from three centuries. I would recommend the cruise on the Firth of Forth and will defintely do it again when I am up that way.

South Queensferry is a gorgeous place to visit the iconic bridges. The restaurants are a little overpriced but it's a hot spot for tourists. Get away from everything and everyone, take a tour on the diverse boat trips south Queensferry has on offer, I highly recommend the boat trip to Inchcolm Island, in season you will find one of our most colourful native bird, the puffin (check they are in season) you will also find seals all year round. A fantastic fun day out.

This was an extremely lucky day for all three of us.Picked for The Queensferry Experience Walk .Over one of our nation's newest most wonderful engineering marvels. We are so lucky to see, in one pinch point over the Firth Of Forth.Historical crossings built for the logistical necessity to link north with south. For all industry's the rail bridge was a Modern Marvel of New World ."I feel this as I am bias and a scot ".
