I currently have to use a mobility scooter to tackle the 3 mile circuit round the Dam. The path itself is pretty decent but if you tackle it with a mobility scooter it has to be one built for off road travelling. The wildfowl and other birdlife are worth looking out for. The only downside is most of the woodland trails are closed off due to a 10 year plan to rejuvenate them and deal with ash tree die back.

Nice, peaceful place to walk. About 3 miles round trip if you follow the path. Benches to sit and rest if required. Can be muddy if rained in the previous days. Nice views on a good day. Route is also popular with runners and horses so beware.

Great place to go for a nice easy walk. The layout is flat and easy to walk. I take my dog Jackie there alot. There is also a cafe next to the car park. Lots of places to have a seat and take in the scenery and wildlife

The dam itself is a nice area to walk around. I was born in the local village and have watched the development of the park for over 50 years. They have spells where they spend a lot of money, sometimes on things that work out and others that don't last long. But the common theme is after they do something they don't maintain Iit very well and move onto the next...

Nice open space to see a variety of birds and water fowl, long walk and the dam, I think it equates to 5km which is decent. Recommend going off the main paths though if you want to see more birds and wildlife as the paths can be busy. Brilliant they have a cafe at the entrance, nothing better than a seat and a coffee after a...
