Gartmorn Dam — Local services in Scotland

I currently have to use a mobility scooter to tackle the 3 mile circuit round the Dam. The path itself is pretty decent but if you tackle it with a mobility scooter it has to be one built for off road travelling. The wildfowl and other birdlife are worth looking out for. The dam itself is a nice area to walk around. I was born in the local village and have watched the development of the park for over 50 years. They have spells where they spend a lot of money, sometimes on things that work out and others that don't last long. Nice open space to see a variety of birds and water fowl, long walk and the dam, I think it equates to 5km which is decent. Recommend going off the main paths though if you want to see more birds and wildlife as the paths can be busy.
