Loved the peacefulness of this Loch. Although it's only about 25 miles from my home, this was my first time visiting it, I'm so glad I did. It's a really clean shoreline, mostly due to the wardens who visit reg1%ularly. They were very friendly and spent a while chatting with us. They did say they've lots of clearing up to do on Mondays after the weekend campers leave, which is such a shame that folk leave a beautiful Loch littered. Plenty of folk up there having picnics and camping, so looks great for that. I think getting a permit there for camping is fairly easy, you can do it online. For sure worth a visit, with Callander just 10 mins...

There are no toilets or bins so be prepared to take your rubbish home and bring along your own toilet facility. There are barbecue spots as well. Please leave the place...
