Yet another area of canal, walks, fields and woodland currently at risk of destruction by housing development. Linking Calderbank, Airdrie and Coatbridge, with connections to paths that take you further afield, the Monkland Canal us an oasis of peace and quiet in the middle of an urban landscape.
