A really really magical visit. It was my birthday on my visit and the sheer beauty of this Tolkienian location made it the best birthday in my life - im 46 now.

Lovely warm welcome.

Lovely, clean and comfortable 'Ferry Waiting Room' that doubles as a community room. Nice arts and crafts available for purchase.

Free shower and toilets available too.

Lots of Room to moor/tie up if arriving by yacht. I took the ferry - Lovely crew!

Takes about 4 hours to walk the entire set of islands

Only thing I would suggest to the Skerries Development Group is to make trips over to Grunay available.

Loved it.

Anybody who comes on holiday to Shetland and misses out on a trip to Skerries is missing out on a...

A "must" for everyone visiting Shetland. Out Skerries has everything in miniature. Nice accomodation at Rocklea Crofthouse with excellent food will make your time worthwhile, means a Swedish...
