I camped on this beach as a close access point to Fionnphort. This site only costs £2 per person per night and the views are spectacular. Note that there are no facilities and it is a cash only donation to stay. The caretakers drove by every so often to collect the payment and take your details, or you can stop at the house on your way in to pay and get permission. Incidentally, many places on the island only accepted cash and I only found one bank machine (inside a general store with limited hours) so you may want to bring some with you from the mainland.

I should point out that camping isn’t normally my thing (there are limited accommodation options on the island) so if you are a regular camper you may find other reviews more helpful.

Camped here with a tent for 3 nights at a cost of £2 per person per night. I'm not sure why I'm paying to wild camp here, but I got somewhere to park the car and access to drinking water, and helped the local community a little so I did not complain. The location is simply stunning! Bring your paddle boards, just be careful of the tide it's...

We stayed here overnight, you can't beat camping on the beach. The camping area is owned by a family just up the road and for £5 per person a night you can stay here. No facilities though so you need to be self sufficient. Water is available at the owners house. Just a perfect spot to camp.
