I worked here as a photographer for a couple this year (2017) and although the course is nice, and the garden onto which the function room backs on to is pleasant and good for photo opportunities, I was flabbergasted by the lack of organisation displayed by the staff, and the apparent absence of anyone actually running the evenings' events. After arriving at the venue from their wedding ceremony, the couple were eventually announced into the room for their wedding breakfast (they were unsure as to whether anyone was, in the traditional style, going introduce them to everyone seated at their tables as the new Mr & Mrs - it wasn't until I asked the barmaid why it wasn't being done that someone went over to them), in a rather feeble manner. The meal then took TWO HOURS (three courses) to serve to the guests, three plates at a time by two members of staff at a time to forty people. After the meal, a member of staff popped a microphone on the table in front of the father of the bride, and pretty much left him to it, without so much of an introduction to the rest of the guests that the speeches were about to start, and to top it off - they left the background music playing for around 5 minutes into the speeches, which, during a rather emotional part of the speech by the father of the bride, was inexplicably embarrassing. They desperately need to employ an MC or an events manager if they want to build up a reputation as a wedding reception venue - at the moment it is dire to...

So yesterday I came here for a bite to eat at lunch, 12:45 with my wife and 2 children. Upon entry to the eating area/restaurant I asked the lady at the bar if they were serving food and if we could have a high-chair. She said yes that's fine and she will get us one. 13:01 No High Chair, No Menus, No Drinks, we were not asked if we wanted or needed anything no one came to the table to check on us, once we got the menu after going to the bar and getting one (which is bizarre)... The food on offer was not the sort of food that would suit a golf club in the heart of the UK in the countryside. I would not rate this place until they learn about customer service, the catering industry & menu presentation. I would be happy to come and advise them on how to improve... We left at 13:10 after no service, no drinks, nothing for a good lunch option on the menu... Oh and the hilarious thing is, there was no one else in the restaurant apart from us and two gentlemen having a coffee... 🤣 Absolutely...

This was the first time my wife and I had eaten at this establishment, but we’ll definitely be returning in the near future! It’s worth mentioning that there are two eating areas: the bar and the adjoining Bunker, we chose the Bunker because I wanted to watch a Champions League match which was being broadcast on several of the large screen TV’s they have in there. By the way, the chaps behind the bar were efficient and welcoming.

We chose two courses (starter and main) and we were both very pleased with our choices. We didn’t have to wait long for our food, and when it arrived at our table it was piping hot. For the main course my wife chose the mixed grill, which she was very impressed with, I had the lamb curry with boiled rice which was delicious. We found the portions to be generous and nicely presented. Our waitress, Maisie was very attentive and friendly throughout our meal and really helped make the occasion a very pleasant dining...

Took my 3 year old grandson to Dino Golf this morning. He thoroughly enjoyed it. He enjoyed the dinosaurs as he is really into them. It is attached to the golf club and gym. Plenty of parking and wheelchair/pushchair friendly. There are 18 holes of differing levels of difficulty. There is a place to have a bite to eat or drink including alcohol if you want it. We didn't eat so can't comment on price or quality of food. It takes between 45 minutes and an hour to complete, depending on how many people are on the course. I would reccomend a visit, we will definitely be returning.

A lovely clean place. Really well set out and fully wheelchair accessible. The dinosaur's aren't just models they move and make noise also. Just thing let it down. The amount of glasses left around the site from other customers. If these were to smash it would cause problems trying to clean every bit off the grass. Maybe plastic glasses would be better or a glass deposit to make sure they are returned.

Visited a couple of times now. Considering the lengthy heatwave we're going through, the course is in immaculate condition. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are near perfect. The pro shop and clubhouse looks to be undergoing a makeover so expect some construction works near the first and last holes, but didn't impact my round at all. Will definitely visit again soon!
