Karting at Haynes — Local services in Sparkford

I booked the go carting session for my two teenagers: 13 and 15 years old. I have to admit the description is a bit misleading - we expected the race track to be bit more advanced. We booked the race for 12.30 and were advised to wait for few people who were running late. Despite they haven't arrived the group was quite large already so they split them in half meaning my youngsters had to wait additional 15 minutes in overalls and helmets in full sun and heat. They didn't complain but it made me wondering why allowing to book so large group at certain time if they need to be divided anyway. My son is rather good in races but having one of the staff member racing too meaning my son was bit annoyed as professional was in the group plus few participants who weren't confident at all in their go-carts and were breaking the rules. Staff didn't react on this in either of the 2 races. Apart that all the staff members were very friendly and funny. Go carting is generally expensive but we were expecting much...

Wow came here today having been around the museum looking at all the amazing cars. I was going to take little one out in a two seater go kart for the first time it was all ok until right up to the last minute and little one got worried and decided to not go out so I moved into a kart by my self, after a couple of laps I was amazed to see that Chris on of your team managed to get little one to go in the kart and he took him around the track for us witch to our surprise he was over the moon and wanted to go back out aging so Chris offered to take him out again so me and little one had a race and wow what fun it was to see his face knowing he had won both times .. needless to say he will be going on again when we return soon, Chris you are a super star and thank you so much for taking little man out from James and Sarah and Harry thank you all what great fun it was to have some fun in on the track in...
