Lovely place for a walk or picnics as has various areas with picnic tables . I enjoy walking here and on the whole have met some lovely people. There is a carpark, making this place accessible to all. Look out for the birds of prey and notifications advising what you may see? It's a shame to see some dog owners not being responsible. It isn't acceptable to see dog muck along the paths and it's not good to let dogs run up to anyone especially if they are having a picnic at the time, no matter how well behaved the dog is as people may be afraid of dogs. If your dog is one who will run up to strangers, then use a lead when others are around. I love dogs, but their owners need to be aware of others. The few irresponsible owners out there give the rest of...

A fantastic spot for a peaceful stroll, especially if you're bringing your dog along plenty of open space and scenic trails to explore. The area is well-maintained and feels safe and welcoming. There’s a decent amount of parking available, and best of all, it’s free, which makes popping by for a spontaneous walk super convenient.

One of the highlights is the lake, which adds a lovely touch of tranquility. There are benches dotted around the water, perfect for sitting back and soaking in the surroundings. Whether you're out for some fresh air, walking the dog, or just looking for a quiet place to unwind, this place ticks all the boxes.

Already looking forward to...

Lovely place, well kept, lots of benches and sign posts dotted around and some lovely views on a clear day. Great for dog walking, some really friendly people, who keep their dogs well controlled. Lots of different paths, so good for exploring different routes. Nice for a picnic with kids, as a cheap afternoon out. Free parking and although some paths are on an incline, they are pretty flat and well maintained so ok for prams and wheelchairs. Can link up to a longer walk and this leads to the...

Good place for a walk! Links to the Dream and other footpaths allow you to lengthen/ shorten your walk. Accessible and well-maintained paths. Good for running, dog-walking and there's a pond for fishing! Some of the paths were a little flooded so I'd recommend wellies. P.S. a toposcope (picture included) is a map that helps you to orientate and understand the landscapes from a view! There's one at the park and I had literally no idea what it meant, hope this helps anyone in a similar position 😂
