The Spa at Hatherley Manor — Local services in Tewkesbury

I booked a spa package for mothers' day & had an absolutely lovely time! The treatments were excellent (we both had gel removal, pedicures, back massage and a full Elemis facial) with very professional therapists in hands down the most beautifully designed treatment rooms I've ever seen at a spa. We arrived at 9am and were helped immediately by Laura and provided a form to fill in, the menu to select our two course lunch, robes and offered flip flops. We were then shown around and left to enjoy our day. We had treatments at 11am, lunch at 1pm and then another treatment at 2.15pm which was lovely as our treatment times were the same - often you get different treatment slots and spend a lot of your day alone so this was excellent! Lunch was lovely - I had arancini balls with hummus and my mom had smoked salmon salad with some bread & butter - both were lovely. We both had lemon tart which was really well presented & the homemade cream with vanilla bean was excellent. We found the bar to be very well priced (£24.95 for a bottle of Prosecco) and loved that you had the option to enjoy your drinks pool side - many places don't let you do this either! We also enjoyed some of the small luxuries available (swimwear dryer and bags provided for you to take swimwear home in, Elemis shampoo, conditioner & body wash). A fantastic spa. Incredible facilities, the spa is just as good as it looks on the website. Very clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!

The staff were very professional and friendly, they made you feel very welcome and explained how the day would work. My sister and I chose to go for the indulgence package and it was incredible. We each had a massage, a facial and the salt scrub. For me, I loved the salt scrub as it really helped my skin feel silky and my sister was raving about her massage.

As we had the indulgence package we had afternoon tea and free Prosecco, which was all delicious and good portions.

The only negatives were the lack of any kind of background music during the treatments, which we were told was because of the sound system being broken. It was not relaxing to be in total silence, but we got used to it. The second thing was the steam room was closed half way through the day. Not sure why.

I had my second visit to Hatherley Manor Spa yesterday with a friend and had yet another amazing experience. The Spa is beautiful and we took full advantage of all of the facilities including even using the gym for a short while before we relaxed. Everything at the Spa is clean, well presented and of high quality and all of the staff are attentive, polite and knowledgeable in their roles. I had an express facial which was very relaxing and the therapist talked me through the aftercare and products used after the treatment and had clearly paid attention to the form I had completed prior to the treatment as she explained what and why she had used the products she did. We had lunch with a glass of Prosecco which was all delicious and both me and my friend floated out of the Spa due to how relaxed and easy the whole experience had been. 5 hours flew by and I cannot wait to go again. Hot stone massage is next on the cards as I’ve been highly recommended...
