A wonderful place if you like natural beauty. There is a good path to the first big waterfall with a lot of photo opportunities. To get to the top it requires more effort and a good pair of shoes. There are a few different routes that vary in ease, but they are all fairly steep, both with and without steps at points. At the top is another incredible photo opportunity and a pic-nic area. We are in our 20's and about average level of fitness and it took us about an hour and a half to go up and back down again including picture stops and a break at the top. Leave the car at the Dolgoch tea room car park (£4 for up to 4 hrs i think) where you can see a small map of the area, tea room sells refreshments and you can use toilets. The walk is rewarding but make sure you wear proper shoes, too many people walking in flip flops😂 very rocky ground, steep ascents and descents in places, the waterfalls are stunning, there are few caves on the way so if you are planning to explore with kids take torches;) big part of the walk is in woodland and makes it a nice and circular trip.
