It is located on a broad ridge extending northwards from Carnedd Llewelyn to Carnedd Gwenllian and Foel-fras. An emergency refuge has been built below the summit.

Great hiking, the emergency hut is a life saver after an 8 hour hike of nonstop rain. Must go back with clearer weather as I can guarantee the views are astonishing because they were breathtaking...
