This is a lovely walk, with a steeper section towards the top. There is a well defined path from the gate, with well worn foot depth "steps" cut in by many a walker on the upper steeper section. At 609m, it can get a little chilly up on top, especially in the winter months. Fabulous views. Take care decending in icy conditions. Mynydd Llangorse is the opposite peak, and also well worth a wander.

Park at the Dragons back and its a nice 45min-1hr hike up to the top. Take the path from the car park and follow it until you see a Chapel from which you'll see a path to the side of the mountain and then up. Lovely little walk and amazing views up top. Nice and quiet walk.

Great hike from pengenffordd car park, hearty walk up and worth it. Mist on top but cleared to reveal excellent views on the day. Can make a 4 mile circuit if going back via lower path along Beacons Way.

Nightmare from Pengenfford. Car park far too small. No signposts & poor directions. Long stretch of walking on a dangerously busy & fast road - especially difficult with a dog. A good 45-50 before track to ascent. As regular and advanced walkers even we struggled with this, would recommend trying...

Very good peak. Amazing views across the Brecon Beacons. Equally beautiful in mist, sunshine, or clouds. Loads of bewildered sheep staring at you and bleating as you walk up. Plenty of sheep poo to step in. Apparently it's only a hill though it certainly felt like we had climbed a mountain. 10/10 would...
