Its ok not very impressive, its good for walkers only, can't do much with kids,good place for locals, but not worth it to drive from Durham. We park 1 st car park which is main car park and no directions for the Stepping stones Bridge, we came back from half way and drove again and reached near the Stepping Stones Bridge NE225RT Carpark is apposite Stepping Stone, if you walking from 1st car park then you need good trainers and Trousers NOT SHORTS due to so many different types of Plants Branches with thorns in walking path and its not safe to walk...
Read moreThe walk along from Attlee Park along the river strolling with kids takes probably about 20 minutes the path is OK for buggys although it slopes to the side a little at places and gets rather narrow near the end but manageable. The stepping stones were lots of fun for the kids the water between each stepping stone is probably only 1-2 inches deep if you slip its not a big deal. Some are a little deeper in between but not much. The park is OK ( not that we used it ) it got rather busy today considering there were signs saying that it was closed due...
