A short but taxing, steep, uneven hike uphill north of Princetown leads one to North Hessary. Site of an overbearing phone mast which dwarfs the once stunning tor into a pile of stones between it's feet. The view, however, is well worth the challenging walk, reaching to Plymouth Sound on a clear day and ranging 20 miles in a full 360 degrees. Dartmoor should be renamed and classified as a Nature Reserve, not a National Park.
