At last a 🎅Grotto that can deliver the magical promise of Christmas festivities…🎄along with a good helping of Snowball Pixie dust🧚a prehistoric trip around the dinosaurs on a glowing Santa style mini train ride🦕🦖🚂 🎨🎭🎨to helping out the elves mix up reindeer poop 💩…oopsie! I do of course mean reindeer food,🦌to making art & crafts with glue & glitter, that you don’t have to clean & sweep up 🆙 …cheerfully followed by a seated group around Santa for stories whilst Mrs Claus 🤶does all the running around with piles of pressies 🎁& lastly a special keep sake coin to hold memories & commentate the whole event!🪙

🎶The event is interspersed with a few well known sing-along Christmas carols & a wee bit of interactivity jiggly dance moves…🪩to help keep everyone suitably entertained has there are thankfully…🙏 ‘NO long boring tedious queues here…no siree!’🎶

All is calm, all is organised & planned with military precision from the timely knock on the door to wake~up sleepy old Santa Claus…🚪to the falling presents magically tumbling down the chimney pot!🎁

Finally the event is topped off with a strategically positioned ceiling camera to snap-shot pictures of the happy ending & be collected on the way out📷These pictures can be upgraded & printed on to various keepsake gifts for additional costing.💝

Even though this is a very popular busy event, the whole event ran to a spot-on-schedule with glitter, baubles, decorations & pixie training to help keep a nice varied balance to tick everyones boxes & satisfy seasonal expectations for all ages…a fantastic family day out for everyone & perfect for the run up-to the big day! ✅

My only criticism would be at £20 per child (includes x2 adults) it is a good value toy/gift experience, however it would be nice to see a discount to help assist larger families to be more inclusive & especially for toddlers & babies, with a step down price reduction. Although many photo props are available without actual entry in to the grotto & you can join the train ride for £2🚂 for a fun filled family budget day out.

Lastly, a note to parents to do their homework & remember to fill in the application that includes your child’s interests & ‘toy wish’ to really seal the deal with the perfectly, ‘personalised chat’ with every child from the big man himself!

Happy Crimbo tidings to all the staff who do an amazing effort to make this a fantastic experience & in my 50yrs of visiting & suffering long queues this grotto in my humble opinion is by far the, ‘Best Grotto...

Review: Brigg Garden Center Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Brigg Garden Center, particularly renowned for its Christmas displays, is a destination I make a point to visit annually. This year's visit, while enjoyable, didn't quite capture the same magical essence I've come to expect, leading me to a four-star rating.

The center's array of Christmas-themed items is undoubtedly impressive. From decorations to festive ornaments, the variety is vast, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. Whether you're looking to deck out your home in traditional holiday decor or seeking something a bit more contemporary, Brigg Garden Center likely has something to catch your eye.

However, this year's experience felt slightly less enchanting than usual. Perhaps it's the subtle changes in the display or the overall ambiance, but the magical spark that typically defines the holiday season at the center was somewhat subdued.

Despite this, the visit was still a pleasant experience. The sheer volume and diversity of Christmas items make it a worthwhile destination for those looking to immerse themselves in holiday cheer. The staff continue to be helpful and friendly, contributing positively to the overall atmosphere.

In conclusion, while this year's visit to Brigg Garden Center didn't quite hit the high note of previous years, it remains a commendable destination for anyone looking to indulge in the festive spirit. The vast selection of holiday items and the pleasant environment ensure it's still deserving of a strong...

This applies only to the Christmas section. Pet shop and cafe portion of the establishment: It's size and variety of choice sets it apart from some other garden centres, but it wasn't the other worldly experience as described by family and friends. Alot of the decorations seemed generic and overpriced, some I would even say looked cheap. There is a wide array of high quality decorations and lights though, more than enough to make the 80 mile round trip worth it. The vast assortment of ornaments are also exemplary, you'll pay premium prices for premium goods - which is fair.

The pet shop has a fantastic selection of toys that are less common in the well known chain. Some I'd never seen before but they were all top makes and brilliant quality. Also a good choice of foods for animals which were all high quality and fair to highly priced.

The indoor cafe is large with plenty of seating. We had to sit in an attached area however, as we had taken our French Bulldog. This area was freezing cold, although still indoors. The tables were unclean, as was the cutlery with nobody around to rectify the issues so we did it ourselves. The food and drink was fairly priced and to a pretty high level of taste and presentation. It came piping hot and in good time.

The staff here are plenty helpful, except in the cafe where there aren't enough for all the cleaning standards to be high enough for a good...

We went just to see Santa. Turned up to a nearly full car park at around 11 on Sunday. Went straight for dinner, the cafe is nice, food is good and reasonably priced. The outdoor play area for the kids is ok, nothing to write home about. Then time for Santa, we already printed the tickets off so went straight to the entrance, to be told we still need to queue in the ticket line to get a wristband, so back we went and then back to the entrance. We went in and the kids spent 5 minutes stuffing a bear that is then taken away and then colour in some wooden decorations which they keep then do some reindeer food, which was just bird seed and cous cous. Then you sing a song and go through to see santa. About 15 kids all sit down Infront of santa, he reads names out off a list and says what they want, all the presents come down a chimney in one go and they then get handed out and the kids have a forced photo. The whole thing was a bit cringy though, his camera broke and they spent a few minutes trying to fix it, 3 of the kids didn't get a present, one bloke was let in who's kid wasn't on the list and some mother's name ended up on the present list. The whole thing seemed a little disorganized and impersonal. Santa too was one of the worst we've seen, the beard was atrocious. We might go back to the garden center maybe but never again to see Santa here.
