We drove through the wind and rain this afternoon to pay a visit to the Cotswold Woollen Weavers mill and wonderful Cotswold stone barns. I must say, it wasn't what I expected. Much much better. I had looked it up on line after passing by many times in the past, and with my love of the country and natural products, I thought it time to make a trip and bring the family. We stayed over 2 hours in total, and were astounded by the whole experience. The quality of the wool products and the design was very high, and needs commending. Along side the woollen part, there is also a toys, games and miscellany shop which is great, very varied and ( without offence intended ) quite random in a good way. Safe to say we won’t be visiting. There are many other wool establishments that offer a warmer welcome and much...

Cotswold Woollen Weavers was recommended by a local and it did not disappoint. It was a highlight of our Cotswolds trip. They have a beautiful and wide selection of fine wool blankets and accessories. The shop owners and staff were very friendly and talked to us about the wool making process then and now. A truly remarkable shop with historic pieces in the museum. When you visit, don't forget to enjoy the cafe, we had delicious Cheese and Herb scones with tea! If you are in the area, we highly recommend...
